• We do not collect your browsing history.
• We only process public product content for actions you explicitly request.
• You never enter or store any third-party AI API keys.

2. Information we process

2.1 Product and review content

When you request an AI action, the extension may read publicly visible product information needed for that action, including the product URL, title, price, rating, sales signal, attributes, and, where supported, review text. It sends only the relevant content to our secure backend to generate the requested demand analysis, listing draft, or review summary and to enforce usage limits.

2.2 Account and installation identifiers

To operate the free daily limit and PRO entitlements, the extension generates an anonymous installation token stored locally in your browser and sent with requests to our backend. If you sign in, we store your verified email to link your subscription across devices.

2.3 Billing information

If you purchase PRO, checkout and billing are handled by our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, which acts as merchant of record. We receive your subscription status to unlock PRO features. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

2.4 Media downloads

The "Download media" feature fetches product images and videos directly in your browser and packages them into a ZIP file on your device. Media files are not uploaded to or stored on our servers.

2.5 Technical logs

Our backend keeps minimal, short-lived technical logs (such as request timestamps and error information) to operate the service securely and prevent abuse.

2.6 Usage and activity data

To show your history and keep the service reliable, our backend records which actions you run in the extension (for example a demand check, a listing draft or a media download) together with the product link, title and thumbnail, the site, the interface language and a timestamp. These records are tied to the anonymous installation token, or to your account once you sign in, and are also kept, in anonymous form, for installations that never sign in. We use them to display your per-extension history, to enforce usage limits and to understand how the extensions are used; we do not sell them.

3. How we use information

• To generate the demand analyses, listing drafts, and review summaries you request.
• To enforce free-tier limits and unlock PRO features.
• To maintain security, prevent abuse, and debug issues.
• To provide customer support when you contact us.

4. Third-party services

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to operate HelpTools:

• OpenAI — to generate the demand analyses, listing drafts, and review summaries you request from submitted public product content.
• Lemon Squeezy — to process PRO purchases and manage subscriptions.
• Resend — to send account sign-in and notification emails.
• Cloudflare — to deliver and secure our network traffic.

Each provider processes data under its own privacy terms.

5. Data retention

Saved analyses are available in the extension for a limited period and may be retained on our backend to provide history and improve reliability. Technical logs are kept only as long as needed for security and operations. You can request deletion of data associated with your account or installation by contacting us.

6. Data security

Traffic between the extension, the website, and our backend is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data we process.

7. Your rights

HelpTools is intended for users aged 18 and over and is not directed at children.
